Ada | A robot with a very special flair

MYOB’s robot, Ada, made her first public appearance at the World Changing Ideas Summit. She livestreamed the exclusive event, showcasing it to an audience around the world.

Ada was designed to express a unique personality will a charming voice and multiple facial expressions. And face tracking allowed her to recognise people and start a conversation.

Ada's brain comprised of a Rasperry PI whilst an Arduino controlled her motors, sensors and actuators allowing her to perceive the environment and move in crowded spaces.
